Concepts related to the space around us, or spatial concepts, are prerequisites for any child in the journey of learning math. These concepts are also called pre-math concepts, which basically define the relationship between us and the space around us that is our surroundings. One of our aims as a teacher or parent is to provide a helping hand to our children in understanding the world around them.
Need to learn spatial concepts :
Learning is based on the words we use to describe relationships in space, so they are vitally important. As kids develop oratory skills, premath concepts play a vital role in expressing their ideas to the people around them. Premath concepts help children develop early mathematics skills, boost their vocabulary, and build their foundation for learning.
