
Recruiting and managing people is a very important area for a startup founder. I have seen lots of talented individuals who are not able to run a startup because they are not able to manage people around them even though they are domain experts. The most important thing I learned at Paytm was the importance of a team in building a Unicorn startup. Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder of Paytm has built a great core team around him which helps him to manage Paytm even though the startup has been having super growth over the last few years.
